Legislative Information from Prior 6 Years

Oregon Legislative Information System (OLIS) is the online repository of current and recent historical legislative recordings and documents.

The legislature makes audio and video recordings of committee hearings and floor sessions available on the OLIS website. They also scan and make available all the documents submitted to and created by the legislature. This includes draft bills, written committee testimony and reports written by staff.

Audio and video recordings are available back to 2007. However the scanned written materials are only available for approximately the past six (6) years.

  • 2007+ - Recordings of Committee Hearings and Floor Debates.
  • Approximately 6 years - Scanned legislative written materials.
    • Draft Bills
    • Written Testimony and Agency Reports
    • Staff Summaries and Staff Reports

If your bill is from the last 6 years all of the official legislative information is online! You can skip to step 7 to look for other legislative and quasi-legislative records.
