Locating Text and Bill Numbers

The Oregon Laws is the official publication of Oregon’s session laws. Each bill enacted into law is recorded as a chapter of Oregon Laws.

All legislative history materials are organized according to the bill number of the legislation.

The various Oregon Laws chapters provide two important parts of a legislative history.

  1. history of all the changes made to a statutory section by the legislature.
  2. The bill numbers of the laws that affected the statutory section.
